We do not sell single EZ Gel treatments, because a single treatment does not do the job. Here is the protocol we actually run, and what maintenance looks like afterwards.
Assessment, photography, first treatment
We confirm what is causing the concern, take standardized photographs in consistent light, and treat. What you see in the mirror on the way out is swelling, not result.
Treatment 2
Four weeks on, the tissue has responded to the first round and we build on it. We compare against your baseline photographs rather than against memory.
Treatment 3
The third of the initial series. For most patients this is where the cumulative change starts to be visible in photographs rather than only to you.
A fourth treatment
Six months after you started, a fourth treatment consolidates what the series built. This is priced as a maintenance visit.
Maintenance, at your metabolism’s pace
How fast you metabolize it is individual. Athletes, patients with a high metabolic rate and patients on GLP-1 medications consistently need treating more often — closer to every four months than every six.
If you are planning around a wedding or anything photographed, work backwards: allow four to six weeks after your last treatment, and longer if you want the whole series in first.

About an hour, start to finish
Assessment and photographs, the blood draw, ten to fifteen minutes of processing while topical numbing works, then the injection itself. You leave with written aftercare and a number to call.
Swelling — and it may look worse
Under-eye swelling is expected. The area can look fuller, puffier or heavier than it did before, and that is the single most common thing patients panic about. It is not your result.
Settling, and any bruising
Swelling generally resolves over this window. Bruising is variable — under-eye skin bruises readily — and can take longer. Makeup is usually fine once the skin is intact and settled; we will tell you when.
The baseline you can actually judge
Only now is there anything meaningful to look at. We compare photographs rather than impressions, because the eye adjusts to a face it sees every day.
Gradual tissue-quality change
The change that matters builds slowly, across the series. Skin thickness and elasticity are where the evidence is most consistent, and where patients most often notice something without being able to name it.
Review, photograph, decide
We re-photograph, compare against your baseline honestly, and decide together whether maintenance makes sense for you. If it did not do much for you, we will say that too.
Rarely the whole plan, often part of one.
Under-eye concerns are usually multifactorial, so the plan usually is too. These are the combinations we actually use.
With SkinPen microneedling
PRF and SkinPen work on the same target from two directions — microneedling creates the stimulus, PRF supports the response. This is our most common pairing for thin, crepey skin.
With pigment and vascular work
If pigment or visible vessels are part of your picture, they need their own treatment. Topicals, peels and the right laser handle the color while EZ Gel handles the shadow.
With filler, when filler is right
Sometimes a hollow genuinely needs the definite correction of hyaluronic-acid filler. We will say so. These are not competing products in our hands.

Every injection carries risk.
Not buried in a consent form you sign in the chair. You should be able to read this before you decide, which is why it is on the service page.
Swelling
Expected rather than exceptional under the eyes, usually 24–72 hours, occasionally longer.
Bruising
Under-eye skin bruises readily. It can last several days and we cannot predict who will bruise.
Tenderness and lumpiness
The area can feel firm or uneven early on as swelling settles.
Asymmetry
The two sides do not always respond identically, which is one reason we review before re-treating.
An underwhelming result
Some patients do not get the change they hoped for. It is a real outcome and we discuss it before we start.
Variable yield
How much usable gel a blood draw produces differs between people and between visits.
Infection and vascular events
Uncommon but real for any injection. Under-eye anatomy demands careful technique and careful patient selection.
What we do about it
You get written aftercare, clear instructions on when to call, and a review appointment — not a form and a wave.
We will not tell you this is risk-free, that it is the safest under-eye treatment, or that you cannot react to it because it came from your own body. None of those statements is true, and any of them should make you cautious about who is saying it.

Three treatments, four weeks apart. That is the initial course for everyone — we do not sell single introductory treatments, because one treatment will not do the job and pricing it that way is misleading.
Including the fourth treatment at six months. Most patients then maintain every four to six months — more often if you train hard, have a fast metabolism, or take a GLP-1 medication.
What is quoted at your visit depends on the areas treated and whether anything else belongs in the plan. If we do not think EZ Gel is right for you, we will tell you before you pay for anything.

A small sample, drawn the same way it would be for a routine blood test. Processing takes roughly ten to fifteen minutes while topical numbing takes effect, and the whole appointment is usually about an hour. If blood draws are difficult for you, tell us in advance so we can plan around it.
Topical numbing is applied before injection and most patients describe pressure rather than sharp pain. The under-eye area is sensitive and the blood draw feels like any other. It is a comfortable treatment for most people, but we would rather set that expectation than promise you will feel nothing.
Swelling for 24 to 72 hours is expected under the eyes, and the area can look fuller or heavier than it did beforehand during that window. That is the treatment plus tissue fluid, not your result. It usually settles over the first week. Bruising is possible and genuinely variable, because under-eye skin bruises easily. Call us if anything worries you rather than waiting it out.
Makeup usually goes back on once the skin is intact and initial swelling has settled, generally the day after, and we will confirm at your visit. Avoid exercise, saunas, hot yoga and alcohol for the first 24 to 48 hours, since heat and raised blood pressure make swelling and bruising worse. Flying is fine, though cabin conditions can make swelling look more pronounced, so we would not book a treatment the day before a long-haul flight to an event.
Allow four to six weeks after your final treatment before anything you are being photographed for. If you want the whole initial series completed first, work backwards from three treatments at four-week intervals and add that buffer, so around four months in total.
Nothing meaningful is visible in the first week, because that is swelling. Change develops gradually over the following weeks and builds across the series. Duration varies by area, protocol, anatomy and individual response; it is not permanent, which is why maintenance every four to six months is part of the plan rather than an upsell.
Because the tissue response is cumulative and one treatment does not produce it. We run three treatments four weeks apart, a fourth at six months, and maintenance every four to six months thereafter. Very likely. How quickly you metabolize the treatment is individual, and patients who train hard, have a high metabolic rate, or are taking GLP-1 medications consistently need treating closer to every four months than every six. We plan for that rather than being surprised by it.
No. Yield varies between patients and between visits, and it is one of the honest limitations of an autologous treatment. If a draw produces less than we would like, we will tell you at the time and discuss what that means for your plan rather than quietly under-treating.
No. Unlike hyaluronic-acid filler, there is no agent that removes it. Your body metabolizes it over months. That is precisely why we place it conservatively and why we would rather add at your next visit than over-treat at this one.
Yes, and it often is. PRF with SkinPen microneedling is our most common pairing for thin, crepey skin. Pigment and vascular concerns are treated alongside with the appropriate topical or laser protocol. And where a hollow genuinely needs the definite correction filler gives, we will use filler, sometimes instead of EZ Gel and sometimes alongside it.
