Lines softened, not erased.
Some lines come from muscle movement. Some come from lost collagen. Some come from volume that quietly left. Treating all three with the same syringe is why people end up looking done instead of looking rested.
Three different lines wearing the same face.
Dynamic lines come from repeated muscle movement. Static lines are etched into skin that has lost collagen. Volume lines appear when the structure underneath has deflated and the skin above it folds.
Almost everyone has some combination, and the combination is what determines the plan. A dynamic forehead line responds beautifully to neurotoxin and barely at all to resurfacing. A static crepey texture under the eyes responds to collagen stimulation and not remotely to more toxin. A nasolabial fold that deepened over a decade is usually a volume story, and chasing it with filler placed in the fold itself is exactly how faces start looking heavy and unfamiliar. This is the concern where over-treatment does the most reputational damage to aesthetics as a field, and where restraint and correct diagnosis produce the results people actually want — looking like themselves on a good week, not like someone who had work done. Our approach is to identify which lines you have, treat the causes separately, and use the smallest amount of anything that gets there.
Feed it. Rebuild it. Refine it.
Every anti-aging plan we build separates the three causes and treats each with the right tool — and it starts with the one almost everyone skips.
Supply the building blocks
Biostimulators come first, and this is the part we most want you to understand. Sculptra and Radiesse are the nutrition your skin needs to make collagen. After about age forty, your skin no longer has the raw material to build new collagen efficiently, and once menopause arrives that capacity drops sharply. Stimulating a skin that has nothing to build with is why so many treatments underdeliver in this age group. We supply the material first, then ask the skin to work.
Soften the movement, rebuild the structure
Conservatively dosed neurotoxin reduces the repeated folding that etches dynamic lines deeper — softened, not frozen. Microneedling runs alongside the biostimulator work to drive collagen production. Neocollagenesis takes about sixteen weeks, so this phase is measured in months rather than appointments.
Refine the surface
Once the structure underneath has rebuilt, we treat the surface — laser resurfacing and chemical peels for tone, texture, and the fine lines that remain. Doing this before the rebuild would be polishing a surface that has nothing supporting it.
Which lines are yours?
The cause behind each line decides the treatment. Most faces have more than one cause running at once.
Forehead Lines
Horizontal lines that appear when you raise your brows — the classic neurotoxin target, and easy to overdo.
Frown Lines
The vertical “11s” between the brows that make you look concerned when you aren't.
Crow's Feet
Lines fanning from the outer eyes. Softening them while keeping a real smile is the whole skill.
Fine Lines & Crepey Texture
The fine crinkling under the eyes and across the cheeks that's visible even at rest. A collagen problem.
Lip Lines
Vertical lines above the lip from sun, movement, and collagen loss — usually all three at once.
Folds & Laxity
Nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and jawline softening that come from volume and support, not from skin.
That's the consult.
Press gently and stretch the skin. If the line disappears, it's likely a skin-quality or volume issue rather than a movement issue — and it needs a completely different plan.
Start with a free consultDifferent timeline, different plan.
Richer complexions tend to show fine lines later thanks to greater intrinsic photoprotection — and tend to show volume change and pigment shifts earlier.
Which means an anti-aging plan copied from a fair-skinned template often solves a problem you don't have while ignoring the one you do. In Fitzpatrick IV-VI skin, the first complaints are frequently about uneven tone, dullness, midface volume, and jawline definition rather than crow's feet. There's also a real safety dimension: aggressive ablative resurfacing, still the default anti-aging recommendation in a lot of practices, carries meaningfully higher post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation risk here. We build around collagen-stimulating treatments that work through the skin rather than by removing its surface, and we treat tone as part of the anti-aging plan rather than as a separate appointment.
Aging well should look like your face, not a template.
What's actually in the protocol.
Three causes, and a deliberate order. Structure comes first, because everything else builds on it.
Sculptra & Radiesse Biostimulators
The foundation of the plan and the most misunderstood part of it. Biostimulators are the nutrition your skin needs to build collagen. After forty the body no longer supplies those building blocks efficiently, and after menopause the drop is steep — so we replace them before asking the skin to rebuild, rather than after wondering why it didn't.
Dysport, Daxxify & Xeomin
Neurotoxin for dynamic lines, dosed conservatively and placed to preserve expression. Different products suit different patients — onset, duration, and formulation genuinely vary.
Microneedling, Peels & Laser
SkinPen and Sylfirm X microneedling drive collagen through the rebuild phase. Then the surface work: the VI Peel, which is safe and effective across every skin tone, and TCA with erbium laser resurfacing for lighter skin types where deeper resurfacing is appropriate.
The most common thing we do at these consults is talk someone out of something. If your main complaint is texture, more toxin won't fix it. If your skin has run out of building blocks, resurfacing alone won't either. Matching the tool to the cause — and running them in the right order — saves more money than any promotion we could offer.
A protocol versus chasing lines.
Injectable-by-injectable treatment is how faces drift. Here's the structural difference.
Our bias is toward under-treating and reassessing. You can always add at a two-week follow-up. You cannot subtract, and the two weeks you'd spend waiting for a heavy result to soften are the reason people are nervous about this in the first place.
What the first year looks like.
Skin prep
A curated skincare regimen goes in first — matched to your skin, not a shelf of products — so the skin is prepared and supported before we start building. We also map which of your lines are movement, which are collagen, and which are volume.
Neurotoxin, biostimulators and microneedling
Neurotoxin softens the dynamic lines, biostimulator injections supply the building blocks, and microneedling drives the collagen response. New collagen takes about sixteen weeks to build, so the visible change from this phase arrives after the phase ends.
Resurfacing and peels
Now that there is structure underneath, we refine the surface — laser resurfacing and chemical peels for texture, tone, and the fine lines that remain. VI Peel across all skin tones; TCA and erbium where deeper resurfacing suits your skin type.
Maintenance
We photograph against baseline and set the rhythm that keeps what you built — neurotoxin every three to four months, biostimulator top-ups on their own schedule, and periodic collagen work rather than starting over.

Everyone asked if I'd — been on vacation.
“I am fifty-two and I came in expecting to be sold a lot of filler. Instead I got a fairly blunt explanation that my skin had stopped making collagen efficiently and that filling lines without fixing that would just make me look heavier in the face.
So we did it the other way around. Biostimulators first, then a small amount of neurotoxin and the microneedling, and the resurfacing came months later. It was slower than I wanted at the time and I understand now why.
The result is that nobody can tell I have had anything done. Three separate people at work asked whether I had been away somewhere. That is exactly what I wanted and did not think was actually available.”
The short list of big reasons.
Structure first
Biostimulators before anything is resurfaced.
Conservative by default
We under-treat and reassess at two weeks.
Expression preserved
Softened, not frozen — that's the whole point.
Built for skin over 40
We replace the building blocks that stopped arriving.
Safe on every skin tone
Collagen stimulation without pigment risk.
We'll talk you out of things
If a treatment won't help, we'll say so.
Pricing, made personal.
Anti-aging plans vary enormously — by which causes are in play, which tools they call for, and how much you want to do at once.
Neurotoxin is priced per unit, collagen work per session, and biostimulators per vial, so a single headline number wouldn't tell you anything useful. We quote a full one-year plan at consultation so you can see what the whole sequence costs, and you can pay for it up front or pay as you go.
Members save 10% on treatments and topicals. Neurotoxin runs on a three to four month rhythm, so that is where it compounds most clearly over a year.

Because after about age forty your skin no longer has the raw material to build new collagen efficiently, and once menopause occurs that capacity drops sharply. Biostimulators like Sculptra and Radiesse are effectively the nutrition your skin needs to make collagen. Stimulating a skin that has nothing to build with is why microneedling, resurfacing, and skincare so often underdeliver in this age group. We supply the building blocks first, then ask the skin to do the work.
Fine lines are shallow surface creasing, usually the earliest visible sign of collagen loss and dehydration. Wrinkles are deeper and fall into two groups: dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated muscle movement, which respond to neurotoxin, and static wrinkles etched into the skin that remain visible at rest, which need collagen rebuilt underneath them. Knowing which you have, and treating them in the right order, is the entire basis of the plan.
Not when it's dosed conservatively and placed well. A frozen look comes from too much product spread across too many muscles, which happens more often with aggressive first-visit dosing than with anything inherent to the product. We deliberately start lower than we think we need and bring you back at two weeks to add if it's warranted. You can always add. You cannot subtract.
The VI Peel is our workhorse because it is safe and effective across every skin tone, which matters a great deal in resurfacing. For lighter skin types where deeper resurfacing is appropriate, we use TCA combined with erbium laser. Both come in the later phase of the plan, from around month six, once the collagen rebuilt in the earlier phase is there to support the surface work.
About nine months before you move to maintenance. Month one is skin prep with a curated regimen. Months two through four are neurotoxin, biostimulator injections, and microneedling. New collagen takes roughly sixteen weeks to build, which is why the visible change from that phase shows up after it ends. Months six through nine are laser resurfacing and peels. From nine months on, maintenance keeps what you built.
Yes, with the right tool selection. Neurotoxin and biostimulators carry no pigment risk at all. The consideration is with resurfacing: aggressive ablative lasers carry higher post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation risk in Fitzpatrick IV-VI skin, which is why the VI Peel is our resurfacing choice across all skin tones and why TCA with erbium is reserved for lighter types. We also treat tone and clarity as part of the anti-aging plan rather than as a separate appointment.
It depends on the tool. Neurotoxin typically lasts three to four months, with some newer formulations running longer for some patients. Collagen built through biostimulators and microneedling develops over three to six months and persists, though aging continues underneath, so most patients repeat some of the work once or twice a year. Biostimulator results commonly last two years or more. Resurfacing results hold as long as you protect them from the sun.
Neurotoxin is priced per unit, collagen work per session, and biostimulators per vial. Because plans combine these in a specific order over a year, we quote a full one-year plan at consultation so you can see the whole sequence rather than a single misleading number.
