Hi yall! Here’s a little bit about me. I grew up in Dallas, Texas and I am a proud fightin’ Texas Aggie (Class of 2010). After college I went to medical school at Texas A&M. In 2015, I moved to Lexington, KY where I completed my General Surgery residency and Critical care fellowship at the University of Kentucky. I currently practice as a Trauma Surgeon/Critical care physician at Saint Anthony Hospital.
I became interested in aesthetics during my 20’s when I was struggling with severe cystic acne and scarring. I underwent many failed treatments and procedures. I finally met the right provider and voila! I learned that detailed consultation with comprehensive skin care therapies actually lead to successful outcomes. This is how Skin! Medical Aesthetics was born. I want to provide a place where clients can trust their providers. I want each client to know that at Skin! they will receive in-depth consultations and will only be recommended treatments that will work for them. Each program will be tailored to individual needs. No gimmicks. No over-selling. No wild promises that don’t pan out. Just amazing results.
Hi there! I am so excited to be a part of Skin! Medical Aesthetics. Here’s a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Lima, Ohio. I went to college at The University of Cincinnati and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016. A few months after graduating I moved to Colorado with my now husband, Micah. We married in 2020 and have the sweetest little rescue mutt, Roux. In my free time, I love to hike with Roux and spend my winters snowboarding!
I started my nursing career in the Cardiac ICU for several years and then moved to the outpatient surgery setting. I became interested in Aesthetics through my own personal skin journey. Like Dr. Kumar, I struggled with cystic acne and scarring and felt that my personal experience could really help patients improve their skin and confidence. I know that deep feeling of anxiety when you have no idea what is helping or hurting your skin! My goal with Skin! is to help guide as many people through their skincare journey as I can-I don’t want anyone else to feel that impossible anxiety with acne!
I joined Skin! in April 2023 and continue to hone my skills and learn as much as possible to provide THE BEST care for my patients. I want all my clients to feel confident and beautiful in their skin. I really believe in our mission here at Skin! We strive to set realistic expectations and deliver realistic, natural results. I’m an advanced aesthetic injector and registered nurse with over 16 years of surgical experience, which means I’ve spent a lot of time understanding the human body… and now I use that knowledge to make people look like the best version of themselves, not a different person.
I blend my surgical background with aesthetic expertise to bring a strong focus on anatomy, safety, and technique to every treatment. Think clinical precision, but with an artistic eye and a very real appreciation for good lighting and great skin.
My philosophy is simple. Subtle, strategic enhancements always win. I care more about skin quality, collagen stimulation, and long-term results than quick fixes. My goal is never to have someone ask, “What did you get done?” but more like, “Why do you look so good lately?”
Consultations with me are very much a two-way conversation. I will listen, ask questions, and probably hype you up a little. Together, we’ll build a plan that actually makes sense for your goals, your lifestyle, and your face.
I’m known for a gentle touch and a conservative approach. I treat what’s needed, not everything possible, and I always aim to keep your natural movement and facial harmony intact. You’ll still look like you, just a little more refreshed and maybe a bit more hydrated.
I also believe you should fully understand what we’re doing and why. No gatekeeping here. I want you to feel informed, comfortable, and confident every step of the way.
And because this industry is always evolving, I’m constantly training and learning so I can bring you the most up-to-date, refined, and personalized care. Basically, I’m a bit of a lifelong student… just one who loves great skin.
Hi I’m Mindy Choi! I’m an aesthetic nurse with a passion for helping patients feel like the most confident version of themselves.
I’m originally from the Chicagoland area and moved to Denver in 2020. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2014. My background in emergency and cardiac care really shaped how I practice. Safety, precision, and patient care are always at the center of what I do.
My approach is intentional and educational. I take the time to understand what you’re seeing, what you’re feeling, and what your goals are. I’ll walk you through the anatomy, the aging process, and the “why” behind every recommendation so you feel informed and confident in your decisions. I focus on building results over time using a combination of treatments tailored to you.
A big part of my philosophy comes from personal experience. I’ve struggled with eczema and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, so I understand how much skin concerns can impact confidence. That’s why I prioritize skin health and long term results.
In the treatment room, I like to keep things calm, supportive, and honest. I’ll guide you every step of the way, check in throughout the process, and you’ll probably hear me say “I’ve got you” more than once. If something isn’t in your best interest, I’ll definitely let you know.
Outside of the treatment room, I enjoy staying active, exploring new restaurants, and continuing my own journey of self growth. I believe when you invest in yourself consistently, it shows in every area of your life.

Hi, I’m Jenna! I’m originally from Omaha, Nebraska, but after a few visits to Colorado, I knew it was where I wanted to be. So I made the move to Denver and am so excited to call it home! I’ve been a licensed esthetician since 2021, but skincare has been a part of my life since I was a teenager.
Back then, I saw a dermatologist who helped me learn how to take care of my skin. That experience stuck with me and sparked a passion for skincare that’s grown over the years. Even though I initially took a different career path, earning a degree in Criminal Justice and working as a criminal defense paralegal with plans for law school, I realized that the legal field just wasn’t where I belonged.
In 2020, I went back to school for esthetics and got my license! I started out doing lashes and brows and the occasional HydraFacial, but it didn’t take long for me to realize that my heart was in skin health. That realization led me to a dermatology office, where I worked with medical grade skincare and performed advanced treatments, and learned so much about how to treat all different skin types and conditions.
Now, I’m proud to be part of the team at Skin! Medical Aesthetics. I truly love helping people feel beautiful and confident in their skin. My approach is all about achieving natural results, supporting long term skin health, and building genuine connections with each client I work with.
When I’m not in the treatment room, you can usually find me reading a good book, hiking, doing Pilates, trying a new coffee shop, or trying to improve my skiing skills (still a beginner, but getting there!). I can’t wait to see you all in my treatment room!
